I adore this bar the atmosphere is awesome- people are friendly and neat, the music is awesome
This is a great spot with great people. Try the white Russian.. so good!!

Great place to feel the South park groove, meeting creative minds, listening to great music while drinking a cold beer!
It is the right place for anyone on a budget wanting to connect with some locals.
The beers are cheap, the staff is friendly and nobody here seems pretentious
They have a great smoking section and The cocktails are strong,
Awesome bartenders, different themes on different nights, cheap drinks, good crowd, amazing Dj’s, there is NOTHING not to love

The ambiance is nice after dark with some serious mood lighting.
The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable.
Their specialty is Bourbon, on a Wednesday all Bourbon except the top shelf stuff is half price.
The food was yummy and very reasonably priced. We were especially impressed with the attentive service
The hostess is always patient and amicable, even when it gets crowded
The manager circulates and jumps in to help tables and the bar.
The food is delicious and different! Charred green beans, sliders, flatbread, etc
The restaurant is beautiful. Set in an old theater with dark wood, bricks and plush red leather in the booths

As far as the food goes, amazing. I had the Steak Benedict and it was fan-freaking-tactic.
Homemade comfort foods at its best!
Charming decor, dim lighting, and dark furniture, a very cozy place to cuddle up with your loved ones for an evening meal
Great soul-comforting foods at decent prices & good portions, this place with take the blues right outtalk you the way only your mama’s cooking can do!
Essentially, fancied up comfort food…and oh, is it tasty. It’s been too long since I’ve been this excited to eat at a restaurant.
Fantastic! Quality, originality, presentation, price- I hate saying things are perfect, but this… was the closest in recent memory
The restaurant is beautiful: the table aren’t cramped, the lighting is perfect, and the outside is just gorgeous.
Great food, medium to large quantities, nice wine selection, moderately priced, inviting ambiance, and good service.

Super cool ambiance, great food, and at great prices
Great place for a guy to take a date so you can show how manly you are by grilling her steak ;)
It really is a fun place to take a date to eat and have fun cooking together.
Prices aren’t bad for a dinner out, just don’t think too hard about the fact that you’re the chef.
A great spot for first dates or people looking for something new and different
The bar is excellent. Great selection of scotch and whiskey.
The jukebox has an interesting selection of old school rock and jazz.
I love this place for its overall vibe and uniqueness. When I said dark and swanky, I really meant it!

Great place, no nonsense, great beer with a knowledgeable staff
They have an incredible beer selection-both on tap and in the bottle
This place is the best beer bar in North park! Look at the Menu to find drink specials.
Foods are pretty good! Who wouldn’t want to enjoy a nice bratwurst German style while downing a brewski?
Good seating, acceptable prices, nice staff, and lots and lots of beer.
Food is mostly burgers and brats; stick with the burgers. Better than average for bar food.
Beer heaven!!! One would need an entire year to sample everything they have to offer.
This place is cozy and cool, and sort of has edge without pretension

Great place to stop by for a fast lunch or a casual dinner.
Have really good fish & chips and a large outdoor patio with a lot of seating.
THE BEST fish tacos I have ever had! Huge Fish Tacos, gigantic and super-tasty.
All of their seafood is good, but if you can only pick 1 thing, snag yourself a beer battered fish taco= yummy!
The greatest fish taco in the universe. Huge, gigantic, and stupendously immense tacos filled with fresh delicious fish.
Quick, fair prices, and the best fish tacos ever. I wanted to eat there EVERY DAY and try the whole menu.
The hospitality was fantastic. They have a very good vibe going on, clean and open with a beautiful outdoor area.
Cheap eats, high quality food, fast service..great when you’re working a convention because of it’s convenience.

Great rotating micro-beer selection, excellent food but most importantly really, really fantastic bar staff
Great little local bar! but a great place for a nice cold beer and some grub.
Outstanding beer selection, reasonable prices and great staff
Terrific bartenders! So friendly and always checking to make sure we weren’t feeling too thirsty.
Friendly vibe, good grinds, excellent beer selection, and 4 TVs for the ADD crowd and you have a GREAT bar.
Tasty beer and was even able to find some bar food that was veg friendly.
Wits End is amazing for their beer selection two big screen TVs that always have a game on. Not to mention Karaoke!
My respects to the wonderful individual who carefully prepares the food here, it is really good!

My neighborhood bar, great food, pitchers of beer, and free popcorn
The food is good too….The hamburger, tacos, fish and chips, any appetizer….you just can’t go wrong.
You can’t go wrong here. Great food, fun/hot staff, full bar, loads of charisma and on and on…
This place is a gem. Think Cheers meets Animal House
Good Crowd. Lots of beers on Tap and friendly staff. Locals hang out.
Service here is great. Always ready to take your order at a moments notice.
The food is really good. Breakfast burrito is huge. Can not lose with any of the burgers.
Great place to go. Anytime is a great time. You will not be disappointed when you go.

The Riviera Supper Club & Turquoise Room

Food was delicious and very well seasoned and my drink was strong.
The Mac and cheese side was terrific.
Wide range of sauces; in regards to people that can’t make a 90-degree turn and find them, they can be brought to you.
It’s neat that you get to cook your own meat on the grill. Definitely fun for groups of people. I don’t know my way with a grill, so my friend offered to grill it for me.
The steak was marinated well. It was moist and tender and really tasty with the restaurant’s own steak sauce.
It was definitely different from the normal sit down restaurant. I loved the cheesiness of the decor…very retro with so much character to it. The hostess was a delight with a warm welcome and seating us.
Everything about this place was awesome…there was one thing I wish I had room for was to try the bacon chocolate cake.
Food was great! My NY Strip was lovely; just as good the second day for left-over’s as it was the first night (it’s BIG). The Mac-n-cheese hot & yummy. And they go great with the baked beans.

The Prado at Balboa Park

The atmosphere on the patio was very romantic and festive. The service was very top notch, as good as it gets
The food was good and not overpriced.
The servers are always efficient and friendly here despite the crowds. You should definitely come here for the atmosphere and it’s not too expensive for lunch.
Definitely one of my most memorable and enjoyable dining experiences. If you are in San Diego.
The atmosphere is terrific, the food is delicious, and Our server Nicole gave us excellent service. I recommend the tiger shrimp with butternut squash.
Service was delightful. Ambiance was perfect.
This restaurant is lovely. it’s a great change of pace from the usual L.A.. eating experience. highly recommend it for any Angelino
